Comfort Tours
Like all of our multiday tours around Tasmania, Under Down Under’s Comfort Tours are nature-based experiences as we explore our island’s incredible national parks and cultural attractions. One of the main features of our Comfort Tours are that we use comfortable and conveniently located motels (there are no hostel options like there are with our Original style of tour). On our Comfort Tours, you can expect a maximum group size of 18 guests per tour. We include several meals as part of these itineraries as well as some terrific activities. Our Comfort Tours operate between October and April each year – check availability on our website to see what dates and room options are on offer.
How active are our Comfort Tours? Generally our Comfort Tours are ‘active’ tours, but we aim to travel at a more relaxed pace than our Original Tours. The guided short walks that we offer are on the easier side, wherease on the Original Tours, there are easier plus more challenging walks at some locations. While some fitness and mobility will go a long way to helping you take advantage of all the activities offered, we understand that everyone is different and our guides will suggest options at each location where guests feel confident and excited about what they can see and do regardless of how fit they are.
Our Comfort Tours are mostly joined by mature travellers – friends, couples, families with older children, and solo travellers too, offering an opportunity to meet some great new people.
At any stage, we encourage interested guests to contact us to discuss which style of tour (Comfort, Original, or both!) might be most suitable for them.
